Riccardo Pompeo has been working for 20 years in the ICT sector on several hardware and software solutions, involved in design and development phases as technological leader, and coordinated working teams on mission critical projects.

His main skills are:

Electronic design of cards based on microcontroller and DSP provided of real-time firmware and communication interfaces based on USART, syncronous parallels bus, PCM and ISDN. Use of standard components TTL/CMOS, Altera EPLD and SGS GAL. Design of electronic boards and automated test.

Skills of analysis, design, software implementation and testing with use of OOP technologies and UML, Visio2000 methodologies. Skills on software programming with languages Fortran, C, C + +, Java and Action Script and use of middle-ware technologies like CORBA, RPC, MOM, RMI, SOAP, REST. Use of J2EE technologies like JSP,EJB3 and JMS with integration of Flash Action Script client applications.

Architectural design skill on HW platforms SUN, HP, IBM and NEC, to support business-critical applications H.A. and fault-tollerant. Architectural design skill for network infrastructures including firewall, switch, load balancer and storage area network (SAN).

Architectural design skill on client-server and web-based systems. Design of EAI integration bus in Unix and mainframe environments based on TIBCO Rendezvous, BEA TUXEDO. Design skill of intranet and internet WEB portals with three-tier architecture based on BEA, VIGNETTE and JBOSS. Design of OSS Trouble Ticket Management systems based on Remedy.

Project Management skill to support work-groups until 10 persons on critical projects from technological and temporal point of view. Experience on technical employees recruitment. Bid preparation and bid management on enterprise level proposals (100Keuro-5Meuro) including supply of hardware, software, support services and system integration.

Preparation of seminars and presentations on products or solutions.
